Wow! Already over halfway through Term 2, lots of positive work being done by our children and our teachers. A prime example of this was when I was in two classrooms last week. On Thursday the 3rd of June I was very fortunate to be in Adventure Room. I had such an enjoyable time working with the children. It was great to see the ICARES values on display! I was most impressed with the focus and drive to complete their work! Also the positive role modelling was a feature. Well done Adventure! On Tuesday the 8th of June I had the pleasure of being in Endurance Room. The highlight of the day was the children creating their own cross-country mascot and writing about the features of their mascot and why they liked their mascot. Positive work ethic from all our children and lots of enthusiasm with their learning. Excellent work Endurance!
The cross-country was a great success! Thank you to the parents and whanau members who came along to support our annual event, it was fantastic to see. A big congratulations to all our children for your training leading up to cross-country and your efforts on the day. As we have been focusing on our value of ‘challenge’ it was positive to see children giving the cross-country a go and meeting this challenge. We are all very proud!

Great effort from our 4 students who represented us at the EPro8 challenge at Morrinsville Intermediate last week. Our team came 4th out of 12 teams. Well done Tahuna Technicals!

Pink Pink is sticky candyfloss deflating in my sloppy mouth. Pink smells like freshly baked raspberry muffins. Pink looks like glamorous dancing flamingos in the shimmering lake. Pink feels like squishy icing melting in my slobbery mouth. Pink sounds like a chubby pig snorting in the muddy pit. Pink tastes like chilly strawberry ice cream. My Cross-Country Mascot My mascot named Bella. My mascot can run fast. My mascot can jump high. I like my mascot because it gives good luck By Marley from Endurance
