Principal Message
Our teachers are collating the most recent assessment results and are writing the end of year reports for the children of the class. It has been very pleasing to hear our children have been making positive progress. The end of year reports will show each child’s progress in relation to the NZ Curriculum levels in reading, writing and maths, and next learning steps for these areas. Reporting will be done on other learning areas, ICARE student/teacher reflection, student goals, general comment and attendance as well as their class for next year. I would like to sincerely thank all our teachers and staff for their dedication, hardwork and drive to make learning engaging and meaningful for our children. I would also like to thank our parents for your support with your child’s education and our wonderful school! Endeavour class reports go home after the children have been at school for 20 weeks and 40 weeks,

Bean Growing Competition
Awesome to see the beans brought into school today and well done on the growing. The garden club did many cool activities today. Thanks to Sheree and Charlotte for organising this great opportunity for our children.

Board Meeting
Our next board meeting will be held on Monday the 5th December at 7pm.

Prizegiving
Our prize giving evening is being held at Tahuna School on the 13th December starting at 6pm. At 5pm, before prizegiving begins there will be a free sausage sizzle and soft drink ‘on the house’ provided by the FOS! This is to celebrate all our amazing tamariki and their achievements this year. And to thank each and every whanau for their contributions and support for our awesome Tahuna School community. Looking forward to seeing you all there!

Old CD’s
If you have any old CD’s and don’t require these anymore we would like these to use to stop the birds nesting in the external heat pump units.

Free Firewood
We have a little bit of firewood left at the front of our school. Feel free to take it.

Ngaa mihi
Phillip and Staff
