 Newsletter Week 9 Term 1

It has been another great week of learning at Tahuna School. We welcome our new student   Devine who has started in Endeavour Class and we also welcome her family.

Our swimming pool is closed for the season. It was tremendous to have this resource up and   running during the swimming terms and appreciate our schools commitment to water safety,   learning swimming strokes and water play.

 ANZAC Poppies

From this Friday we will have ANZAC poppies for sale at the office. A poppy is a gold donation.   Let’s support a very worthy cause.

 Water Bottles

Our water fountains are still out of use for drinking. Therefore your child must bring a drink   bottle to school.

 Class Awards

Congratulations for your hard work and dedication to your learning:

Endeavour – Hollie, Liam and Jack G
 Endurance – Fletcher and Arihana
Maungaturoto – Rebecca and Jack B

What the key changes to the COVID-19 Protection Framework impacting schools are:

 From 11.59pm last Friday March:

  • removal of any outdoor capacity limits at all colors of the framework
