Teacher only days (TOD)
School teaching staff are awarded 8 teacher only days as part of the Collective Agreement Accord for workload and or professional development. Currently our teaching staff have had 2. These days need to be completed by July 2022. As we had one day postponed during lockdown we will be having it now on Monday the 8th November. The other day will be Friday 26th November.

Paralympian Visit
Danielle Aitchison visited Tahuna School today to share her running experiences and her medals. The children asked really good questions and we all enjoyed her visit.

Working Bee
On Saturday the 30th November from 10am to 2pm we will have our working bee. We have a number of jobs to be done around our school and we will appreciate it if you are able to give some time to help us out. A list of jobs will be sent out in our newsletter closer to the date.

Covid Health Measures
We would like to thank you for supporting our health measures during alert 2 by dropping off and picking up your child at the gate and having your child at home when they are unwell. Also if you do come on to the school site please use the covid tracer app or sign in at the office. We do encourage the wearing of masks when you come onsite. Well done and thanks for supporting us.

Talent Quest
Congratulations to all our children who entered our fantastic Talent Quest 2021. The effort you put in with rehearsal has paid off and you all were so inspiring! Also congratulations to those children who practised for their act but were unable to make it on the day. Thanks Miss Murphy for organising our talent quest! Also thanks to Lisa TeTai for judging and Nick Kraenzlin for instrument set up and sounds.
